More than a century ago, Fujikura Rubber got its start based on the technology used in making rubberized cloth. As society's needs changed over time, Fujikura Rubber developed the technology necessary to meet those evolving requirements. Today, Fujikura Rubber is active in the following six operational areas;
Overseas, Fujikura Composite America, Inc., was established in the United States in 1994 to produce carbon shafts for golf clubs. In 1996, Hangzhou Fujikura Rubber Co., Ltd., was established in the PRC to manufacture industrial rubber products. Fujikura Rubber and its subsidiaries will continue to expand into new fields with promise into the future.
